Osprey seen hunting over the river Eden between Little Salkeld and Eden Lacey.  Time 3.00pm

Buzzard, Marsh Harrier, Peregrine, Kestrel, Hobby, Sparrowhawk, Red Kite, and Osprey. An enjoyable day.

First returning whimbrel over SW 8am.    Also 4 tree sparrow, 1 crossbill and 8 siskin

Location: Outhgill, Mallerstang

Name: Gary Jones

Confirmed Successful breeding by Spotted Flycatchers in Outhgill for 3rd successive year at least.  Additional successful pair elsewhere in the valley.
