3 flocks of common scoter N/NE over UoC campus Ambleside, 16 redwing N and also a huge flock of redshank which latest 1.5 minutes of constant calls.

A European crane initially flew low at the north end of Great Salkeld tree top hight ft cruised around the north end gradually gaining height eventually heading south along the Eden valley. This was at 12.30
