I was sitting in the car watching a small section of hedge near to the Watchtree Nature Reserve when a Tree Sparrow appeared in the middle and on top of the hedge a number of times. I am not certain if it was the same Tree Sparrow each time.

Male to rear of smaller roadside pond. Also 45 wigeon, 1 goldeneye, 65 grey lag, 20 tufted duck, 25 gadwall

The Great White Egret was initially seen by my wife as it flew overhead it’s size and a clearly visible yellow beak left us in no doubt of it’s species.
