Location: Arnside tower
Name: Jonathan Lishman
1 feeding around cattle just north of Arnside tower farm. Also c.50 Wigeon, 40 Wigeon, 4 Gadwall, pair Shoveler on flooded field. Male Merlin flew through. Great White Egret on nearby Black dyke.

Male hawfinch clearly seen at top of dead larch at the edge of wood. Huge bill obvious, chestnut head,white neck & tailtip. Flew away onto large beech beside the lane accompanied by 2 others.
