Feeding from perch (an overhead powerline) in field behind house. Habitat – hedgerow/mature trees/scrub/grazing field. First sighting this year.

Single dotterel in non-breeding plumage flushed from the southern end of Hobcarton ridge, before it ascends up steeply to the summit of Grisedale Pike.
