• Waders& Osprey

    Sighting date: 2024-07-16. Submitted by: A. Collinge. Location: Port Carlisle.  Good numbers of Redshank, Oyster Catchers  Dunlin, & Curlew. 18 Knot one in summer plumage, Black_Tailed Godwits, 4 Common Sandpiper & 1 Common Gull. An Osprey was flying along the estuary towards Campfield marsh.

  • (Juvenile) Common Redstart

    Sighting date: 2024-07-12. Submitted by: Andrea Collins. Location: Ravenstonedale.  A number of juveniles present in the scattered woodland east of Ravenstonedale though I only saw one adult, a male, who was a bit camera shy.
