    Sighting date: 2024-06-21. Submitted by: Andrea Collins. Location: Plumpton, Leven Estuary.  Approx 250 -300 Eider ducklings mostly in two large creches with a few smaller groups.

    Sighting date: 2024-06-21. Submitted by: Simon Cunningham. Location: Bridge over river eden below lazonby.  11.30 am. Osprey hunting over the river below the bridge. Moving downstream slowly, occasional hovers but no dives.  I am visiting Penrith, is this a common sight?
