Location: Woods above Stainton village, Penrith. .
10-20 waxwings. 2 or 3 perched on top of the tallest trees looked to be catching airborne insects. Couldn’t confirm what they we’re feeding on, only had my pocket binos. It was mid day and quite warm with the sun out. First for me here close to home in Stainton, Brilliant.
